Keep moving the way you want to move.
A gentle, daily spinal practice — five to fifteen minutes — designed to keep your spine doing the small things that make the rest of your day easier.
Please talk to your doctor first. Axial Reset is a wellness practice, not medical care. If you have a diagnosed spinal condition, are recovering from surgery, or have cardiovascular concerns, your physician should weigh in before you start any new movement practice.
Why daily matters more as you age
The body is constantly negotiating with the dominant input. As we get older, the dominant input shifts — less variety in our movement, more time seated, fewer reasons to twist or reach overhead during a typical day. The spine adapts to that narrower range and gradually loses the rest.
A daily practice is how you keep telling your spine that the full range is still expected. Five minutes a day is enough to preserve what you have. More than that is bonus, not required.
What this practice is
- Gentle. No floor work required on most days. Standing, seated, against a wall — those cover the essentials.
- Short. Five to fifteen minutes. The shorter version is always available.
- Guided. The app walks you through every session — you don't need to remember anything.
- Adjustable. Every movement has a softer option. "I felt it but it was a lot" is feedback the app uses to dial things back next time.
What this practice is not
- Not balance training. If falls are a concern, ask your doctor or a physical therapist about a balance-specific program.
- Not strength training. Important for older adults, but a separate practice.
- Not rehabilitation. If you're recovering from surgery or a specific injury, follow your provider's plan first.
- Not "exercise for seniors." Same daily protocol as every other member, with softer options when needed.
What changes over weeks and months
The most common reports — not medical claims, just patterns:
- "Getting out of the car is easier."
- "I sleep through the night more often."
- "Reaching the top shelf doesn't take effort."
- "Looking over my shoulder while driving is smooth again."
- "I'm less stiff in the morning."
What's underneath those: a spine that's been reminded, every day, that all of its motion is still expected. That's the whole mechanism.
What you'll need
- A phone (iOS or Android) with the Axial Reset app.
- A wall and a sturdy chair, sometimes.
- Five to fifteen minutes a day.
- Permission from your healthcare provider if you have any condition that might be affected by movement.
How to start
The first seven days are gentle on purpose. Day 1 is mostly awareness — paying attention to how your spine feels right now. By Day 7, the daily session is roughly five to seven minutes, and the rhythm is established. You can stop at any time within the 14-day window for a full refund.
