3. Not Protected Health Information
Axial Reset is not a healthcare provider and is not a HIPAA-covered entity. The wellness information you submit through the Services is not "protected health information" under HIPAA. We treat this data with care, but the protections that apply to your doctor's records do not apply here. If you need clinical-grade privacy for sensitive medical information, please consult with a licensed healthcare provider.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Services:
- Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, database, file storage, push notifications, crash reporting.
- Stripe — payment processing (web subscriptions).
- Apple & Google — subscription processing through the App Store and Play Store.
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly website analytics (no cookies, no personal identifiers).
- SMTP provider — for transactional emails (welcome, password reset, support).
We may disclose information when required by law (subpoena, court order, lawful regulatory request), to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of the business.
5. Your Choices and Rights
Access and correction
You can view and update your account email from inside the app. Other intake fields can be edited; contact us if you need help.
Deletion
To request deletion of your account and associated data, email support@axialreset.com. We will delete or anonymize personal data within thirty (30) days, subject to legitimate retention obligations (e.g., billing records).
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email support@axialreset.com.
Push notifications
Turn them off any time from inside the app or your device's notification settings.
Marketing communications
We only send transactional and account emails. We do not send marketing emails to subscribers without separate, explicit opt-in.
6. Data Retention
We retain account, subscription, and practice data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we retain only what we must (typically billing records for tax and accounting purposes) for the period required by law, then delete.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest (Firebase / Google Cloud defaults), and access controls that limit administrative access to data. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work hard to protect your information.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Users between 13 and 17 may only use the Services with parental consent and supervision. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Users
The Services are operated from the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Services, you consent to that transfer.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page and (for substantial changes) communicated by email when reasonably possible. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
